About Your Photographer
Hi, I’m Balázs — the photographer behind Urban Leash.
Originally from Hungary and now based in North Austin, I started Urban Leash to capture the personality, energy, and everyday moments that make each pet unique.
What began as a passion project quickly became something more — a way to preserve the little things that matter most. The look they give you at home. The way they move, play, and just are.
My sessions are relaxed and natural. No forced poses, no pressure — just real moments, captured as they happen. Whether we’re at a local park or in a familiar spot near home, the goal is always the same: to create images that feel true to your pet and belong in your home.
Outside of pet photography, I work in fintech and am also an award-winning ocean wildlife and conservation photographer.
